Custom Engineering Plastic Sheet Supply
PVC Sheet
PVC sheet is polyvinyl chloride material supplied in rigid, transparent rigid and flexible forms. Industrial PVC-U board offers stiffness, dimensional stability, moisture resistance and resistance to many acids, alkalis and chemical solutions. Transparent rigid sheet is used where visibility is needed, while flexible transparent sheet is chosen for covers, protective surfaces and partitions.
Guangzhou Huayun Manufacturing can review full sheets, cut-to-size panels and drawing-based parts. Please state whether you need rigid PVC-U, transparent rigid PVC or flexible transparent PVC, then confirm thickness, width, length, color, surface, quantity, tolerance and processing. For chemical equipment, also provide the medium, concentration, working temperature, load and joining method.
- ✓Rigid PVC-U reference: 2–50 mm thick and 1000–2000 mm wide, with cut length available for review.
- ✓Transparent rigid reference: 2–20 mm; flexible transparent reference: 0.2–3 mm.
- ✓Gray, white, transparent and selected custom colors can be reviewed by grade and quantity.
- ✓Cutting, CNC routing, drilling, bending, forming, welding, bonding and finished-part processing can be discussed.
What Is PVC Sheet?
PVC sheet is polyvinyl chloride made into flat material for construction, display, industrial equipment, machine protection and everyday surface applications.
Its properties depend on formulation. Rigid PVC-U contains little or no plasticizer and has a hard, stable structure suited to tanks, ducts, panels and machined parts. Transparent rigid PVC combines a firm structure with visibility for guards, covers and level observation. Flexible transparent PVC contains plasticizer, allowing it to bend and drape over tables, work surfaces or openings.
PVC sheet is generally moisture resistant and easy to clean. Depending on the grade, it can be cut, drilled, printed, routed, thermoformed, bent, bonded or welded. Chemical resistance, flame behavior, outdoor weathering, food contact and electrical performance must be confirmed for the exact ordered grade rather than assumed from the material name alone.

PVC Sheet Custom Service
Start by identifying the finished use. Industrial tanks and machined parts normally need rigid PVC-U; transparent guards need a rigid clear grade; table covers and flexible partitions need soft transparent PVC. Using the correct product name prevents errors in density, thickness, hardness and processing.
For cut or machined parts, send a drawing showing thickness, overall size, holes, slots, edge details and tolerances. For printed, laminated or decorative panels, provide the surface sample, color reference and indoor or outdoor requirement. For tanks or ducts, include chemical concentration, service temperature and the welding or bonding method.
Food contact, potable-water contact, flame classification, antistatic behavior, ultraviolet stability and electrical performance are grade-specific. State the required standard and document before quotation; these properties should not be assumed for every PVC sheet.
PVC Sheet Technical Reference
The following values organize information from the supplied industrial PVC sheet references. They are comparison data, not guaranteed values for every PVC formulation. The approved grade, sample and technical document should control the order.
Available Size Directions
Choose the product type first because rigid, transparent rigid and flexible transparent PVC use different thickness ranges.

Where Is PVC Sheet Commonly Used?
PVC sheet is used across industrial fabrication, construction, interiors, display and surface protection. The correct application depends on whether the material is rigid, transparent rigid, flexible, foam or decorative grade.
Chemical and Industrial Equipment
Rigid PVC-U is used for electroplating tanks, acid-washing equipment, chemical containers, ventilation ducts and exhaust-treatment components after compatibility review.
Machine Guards and Inspection Panels
Transparent rigid PVC can be used for guards, covers, equipment interiors and liquid-level observation where a clear, firm panel is required.
Building and Moisture-Prone Areas
Suitable rigid or foam PVC grades are used for wall panels, partitions, ceilings and moisture-resistant components in kitchens, bathrooms and service areas.
Interior Furniture and Cabinets
Decorative or foam PVC boards can be laminated, printed or finished for cabinets, shelves, dividers and interior panels. These are not the same as dense chemical-equipment PVC-U.
Advertising and Display
Printable PVC sheets are used for signs, display panels, exhibition boards and backing plates. Printing, engraving and outdoor exposure should be tested on the selected grade.
Flexible Surface Protection
Transparent flexible PVC is used as table covering, work-surface protection, flexible partitions and protective curtains where bending and visibility are required.

PVC Sheet Buyer and Technical FAQs
Practical questions to review before material selection, processing and repeat supply.
What is PVC sheet?
PVC sheet is flat polyvinyl chloride material supplied in rigid, transparent rigid and flexible forms. The correct type depends on whether the application needs stiffness, visibility, flexibility, chemical resistance, printing or surface protection.
What is the difference between rigid PVC-U, transparent rigid PVC and flexible transparent PVC?
Rigid PVC-U is a firm engineering board. Transparent rigid PVC is a hard clear sheet for guards, covers or level observation. Flexible transparent PVC bends and drapes over surfaces or openings and is often called soft glass. Their specifications are not interchangeable.
What thicknesses and sheet sizes can be reviewed?
Reference ranges are 2–50 mm for industrial rigid PVC-U, 1–60 mm for a broader rigid-sheet direction, 2–20 mm for transparent rigid PVC and 0.2–3 mm for flexible transparent PVC. Width and length also vary by type, so confirm the exact requirement before ordering.
Which colors and surfaces are available?
Rigid sheet directions include dark gray, light gray, gray-white, white, porcelain white, milky white and selected custom colors. Transparent grades are clear. Smooth, printable, laminated or slip-resistant surfaces can be reviewed depending on the PVC type and quantity.
What temperature can rigid PVC sheet withstand?
The referenced industrial grade advises continuous service not above 50°C and short exposure not above 60°C. Chemical contact, load, support and duration can reduce the suitable limit, so the final grade must be checked for the actual condition.
Is rigid PVC sheet chemical resistant?
Rigid PVC generally resists many acids, alkalis and chemical solutions, but compatibility is not universal. Send the chemical name, concentration, temperature, contact time and load condition for review.
Is every rigid PVC sheet UL 94 V-0?
No. One referenced industrial grade states UL 94 V-0, but flame classification depends on formulation, thickness and test conditions. Request grade-specific test documentation when a fire classification is mandatory.
Can rigid PVC sheet be cut, bent, welded or bonded?
Yes. Depending on grade and thickness, PVC sheet can be saw cut, CNC routed, drilled, punched, engraved, heat bent, welded and bonded with a suitable PVC adhesive. New forming or joining conditions should be checked with a trial piece.
Can PVC sheet be used for food or potable-water contact?
Only when the exact grade has the required approval. A standard industrial chemical-equipment sheet should not be assumed suitable for food, pharmaceutical or potable-water contact without the relevant documentation.
How should PVC sheet quality be checked?
Check the approved PVC type, grade, thickness, dimensions, color, transparency where applicable, flatness and surface. Examine the sheet for obvious bubbles, cracks, inclusions, damage and unacceptable color difference. Processed parts should also be checked against the drawing and tolerance.
What should we send for a quotation?
Please send the PVC type, grade, thickness, width, length, color, surface, quantity, application, operating conditions and processing requirements. Include a drawing or sample for cut, machined, bent or welded parts.
